The 5,000-hectare Mervent Vouvant forest offers a wonderful harmony between trees and water.

On foot, horseback, boat or mountain bike; on your own or with a guide, discover the forest, its flora and fauna and its remarkable trees. Numerous marked trails for all levels criss-cross the forest. Climbing, orienteering, archery, sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, electric boating, canoeing and fishing are also on the programme.

Le Parc Naturel Régional du Marais Poitevin is an incredible maze of waterways hidden beneath ash and poplar trees.
